TGS5042 is a battery-driven sensor developed by FigaroElectrochemical carbon monoxide sensorCompared with existing electrochemical sensors, it has the following advantages: the electrolyte is environmentally friendly; there is no risk of electrolyte leakage; the detectable carbon monoxide concentration is up to 1%, with a wide operating temperature range (-5˚C ~ 55˚C); and low sensitivity to interfering gases. This sensor features long service life, good long-term stability, and high accuracy, making it one of the few ideal sensor options for digital display applications. OEM customers will find that through the barcode on each sensor, individual sensor data can be printed separately, allowing users to avoid expensive gas calibration procedures and also enabling tracking of individual sensors. The CO sensor TGS5042 adopts a standard AA battery size form factor.

The ordinate represents the output current (IOUT/μA) of the sensor in various gases. The output current shows high linearity with a deviation within ±5% in the range of 0 to 500ppm, indicating high selectivity to carbon monoxide.
