Product Introduction
I.FOT-MFiber Optic Temperature Sensor Description
The FOT-M is a fiber optic temperature sensor designed specifically for medical applications, combining all the excellent characteristics you would expect from an ideal sensor body. The FOT-M is compact, immune to microwave and RF interference, corrosion-resistant, and offers high accuracy and good reliability. All these features make the FOT-M an excellent product choice for temperature measurement in extreme environments.
The main feature of FISO's FOT-M fiber optic temperature sensor is its complete immunity to EMI and RFI. It is intrinsically safe for medical applications and offers high accuracy. For demanding medical applications such as MRI, the FOT-M temperature sensor provides users with high-fidelity temperature measurement.
Since the FOT-M temperature sensor is designed to measure temperature under any EMI, humidity, and vibration conditions, the product system can reliably measure temperature even in the most adverse environments. For the various extreme environments mentioned above, the manufacturer can provide different types of lead cables.
Based on fiber optic technology, the sensor is inherently immune to EMI and RFI. The optical sensor is electronically inactive, so it neither emits nor is affected by any type of electromagnetic radiation, whether it is microwave, RF, or NMR.
The FOT-M fiber optic temperature sensor is based on the well-established Fabry-Perot interferometric principle. The unique design of the sensor is based on the measurement of the deflection of a silicon diaphragm, which is completely different from traditional temperature measurement techniques. Temperature changes cause a change in the length of the Fabry-Perot interferometric cavity, and even under harsh conditions of temperature, EMI, humidity, and vibration, our fiber optic signal conditioner can continuously measure the cavity length with high precision.
In addition to the inherent advantages of fiber optic sensors, our white light demodulation technology also ensures high accuracy and reliable measurement. By employing a white light cross-correlator, our signal conditioner can demonstrate superior product performance and provide high-precision and ultra-reliable measurements.
