| The HIH-4000 series humidity sensors are designed for OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) users seeking high-volume orders. The near-linear voltage output of this sensor enables direct input to controllers or other devices. With a typical low current consumption of only 200 µA, the HIH-4000 series is generally well-suited for battery-powered low-power systems. Tight sensor interchangeability reduces or eliminates OEM production calibration costs. Individual sensor calibration data is available. The HIH-4000 series provides instrumentation-grade relative humidity sensing performance in a cost-effective, solderable SIP (Single In-line Package). The RH sensor is a laser-trimmed thermoset polymer capacitive sensing element with chip-integrated signal conditioning, available in two pin spacing configurations. The multilayer structure of the sensing element effectively resists adverse factors in most application environments, such as moisture, dirt, dust, oils, and common environmental chemicals. |
