I.Honeywell Long Probe Oxygen Sensor (O2 Sensor)KGZ-12Product Overview:

The oxygen sensor uses two zirconia discs with a sealed space in between. One disc functions as a reversible oxygen pump, sequentially filling the sample gas and evacuating this small space. The other disc measures the oxygen partial pressure difference ratio to obtain the corresponding sensing voltage. When the zirconia disc operates as an oxygen pump, the required temperature of 700°C is generated by a heating element. The time taken for the oxygen pump to reach the rated minimum and maximum pressures within the small space corresponds to the oxygen partial pressure in the environment.
