The Swiss Sensirion digital humidity sensor SHT25 has been used in various applications and has become an industry benchmark.

Compared to standard models, the SHT25 guarantees higher accuracy (humidity 1.8%, 0.2°C typical). Like the humidity sensorSHT21it is fully calibrated and reflow solderable. It also uses the DFN3-0 package, measuring 3x3x1.1mm, and is a newly designed precision sensor chip. Except for the humidity sensing area, the chip package is fully overmolded to protect the capacitive humidity sensor from adverse environmental conditions, ensuring good long-term stability.

The SHT2x is embedded in a 3 × 3 × 1.1 mm3 reflow solderable dual flat no-lead (DFN) package, providing calibrated linear sensor signals and output in digital I2C format. The SHT2x humidity sensor series integrates a capacitive humidity sensor, a bandgap temperature sensor, and dedicated analog and digital integrated circuits - all on a single CMOSens® chip, resulting in good accuracy, long-term stability, and ultra-low power consumption.

Each sensor is individually calibrated and tested. The sensor surface has a printed batch number, and the chip contains a stored electronic identification code that can be read via software commands. In addition, the resolution of the SHT2x humidity sensor can be changed via commands (RH/T from 8/12 bits to 12/14 bits), and the sensor's checksum helps improve communication reliability. With these features and its proven reliability and long-term stability, the SHT2x humidity sensor series offers excellent value for money.
