Product Introduction

UK SST Intrinsically Safe Optical Liquid Level Switch SensorLLIS:
Intrinsic safety for hazardous areas
Certified for hazardous areas, the PST intrinsically safe optical liquid level switch is designed and certified for use in demanding applications involving direct contact with hydrocarbons, fuels, and flammable or explosive liquids.
Our level switch uses infrared technology and the principle of total internal reflection to detect the presence or absence of most liquids. Almost instantaneous response time is standard, with a switching point repeatability of ±1 mm.
The PST level switch operates in a temperature range of -30°C to +80°C (-22°F…+176°F). The stainless steel housing and a variety of sensing tip material options ensure it is extremely robust and chemically resistant.
