Product Introduction
1. General Description of Optoprox Series Proximity Sensor PSC200D3SH
A proximity sensor is a sensor that provides single-point detection through a TTL-compatible push-pull output,
with a detection distance typically extending 10mm from the sensor surface.
The infrared LED and phototransistor are positioned at the top of the sensor, so that most of the light escapes into the air.
When the sensor's field of view is obstructed by an object, the infrared light is reflected back into the sensor head from the obstacle,
causing a change in the amount of light on the phototransistor, which in turn changes the output state.
2. Cleaning of Optoprox Series Proximity Sensor PSC200D3SH
The appropriate liquid should be selected based on the type of contaminant. SST recommends solvents based on Freon and methanol.
Do not use any chloride solvents such as trichloroethane, as they may corrode the sensor material.
