Product Introduction
1. High resolutionInfrared CO2 sensor(CO2 sensor) Prime2 product description and operation:
Prime2 sensorUses NDIR technology to detect CO2 gas concentration. Inside the sensor, there is an infrared light source, a dual-element infrared detector, a unique optical waveguide that allows gas to diffuse in, and an ARM7 core microprocessor. The output voltage is independent of the power supply polarity.
High-resolution infrared CO2 sensor Prime2Can be set to linear voltage output, with a full-scale range of 0.4V-2.0V referenced to the negative power supply terminal, or set to catalytic combustion format output, where the zero point is typically the midpoint voltage, and the voltage at the detection pin at the full-scale point is 100mV.
In addition, the output value can be read and internal configuration can be accessed through a serial port connection. For Prime2 in the 3-series, the communication connection points are pads; for the 5-series, they are pins. The internal integrated circuit can perform functions such as driving the optical components, extracting detection signals, converting signal intensity into concentration, performing temperature compensation, and quantifying output values.
In catalytic combustion configuration, Prime2 can fully replace catalytic combustion sensors without changing the circuit, provided that the power supply requirements are met. When Prime2 is used in a constant-current catalytic combustion circuit,
the peripheral components need to meet the power supply requirements. Prime2 currently does not have explosion-proof certification, so if used in hazardous areas, an explosion-proof sealed enclosure must be added.
