Product Introduction
I.Prime1Linear Voltage OutputInfrared Methane Sensor(CH4 Sensor) Product Description:
The Prime1 sensor uses NDIR technology to detect gas concentration. Inside the sensor, there is an infrared light source, a dual-element infrared detector, a unique optical waveguide that allows gas to diffuse in, and an ARM7 core microprocessor. The circuit provides an output voltage independent of power supply polarity. The sensor can be configured for linear voltage output, full-scale 0.4V-2.0V referenced to the negative supply, or configured for catalytic bead format output, typically mid-voltage at zero, with 100mV relative to the detection pin at full scale. Additionally, the output value and internal configuration can be accessed via serial port connection. Communication connection points are pads on the 3-series Prime1 and pins on the 5-series Prime1. The internal integrated circuit can perform functions such as driving optical components, extracting detection signals, converting signal strength to concentration, temperature compensation, and quantizing output values. In catalytic bead configuration, the Prime1 can fully replace a catalytic bead sensor without circuit changes, provided power supply requirements are met. When used in constant-current catalytic bead circuits, external components must meet power requirements. The Prime1 currently does not have explosion-proof certification, so if used in hazardous areas, an explosion-proof sealed enclosure must be added.
