Product Introduction
FALCOM Positioning Tracking System DISCO-B4-GLONASS Description
DISCO-B4-GLONASS is a new tracking system that combines GPS and GLONASS positioning systems, providing more reliable support for complete telematics. It is a freely configurable smart tracking device that can fully adapt to different user needs. With its quad-band GSM/GPRS technology supporting two-way communication, its ability to work with navigation satellite systems (GNSS) - GPS and GLONASS, its high-capacity backup rechargeable lithium battery, and its waterproof and windproof plastic housing, this device is widely suitable for various indoor and outdoor applications such as AVL, fleet management, asset tracking, vehicle security and recovery, and the transportation industry. This device has a protective IP69K housing, allowing permanent installation on vehicle roofs, including buses, trucks, trains, ships, and other assets.
This device can operate fully autonomously and is capable of interacting with sensors and actuators. DISCO-B4-GLONASS is suitable for existing tracking solutions and can be easily configured to collect or directly exchange relevant information with servers or users. A frequently used example is sending status reports or alarm messages directly to users via SMS and/or to tracking servers via TCP/UDP/HTTP/SMTP protocols. Driver logs and data recording functions are integrated into the historical features. Geofencing is used to report violations of predefined routes or areas (e.g., a vehicle entering or leaving a designated area or deviating from a designated route). All these features are perfectly integrated into one device concept, which greatly shortens time-to-market and provides low-cost attendance and security solutions.
