The frost electrode pad - ICEFPC is a smart sensor based on capacitive sensing, integrating the high-precision differential capacitive sensing chip MDC04 from MINSource. It determines frost thickness changes through dielectric constant variations, with frost thickness proportional to capacitance value. The sensor embeds an MCU detection processor to effectively filter out temperature, electromagnetic, and other interferences, thereby quantifying frost accumulation. It is widely used in frost detection scenarios such as refrigerator evaporators.
