Product introduction

Hot-wire alcohol sensor MR513 product description
-
The MR513 hot-wire alcohol sensor operates on the principle that gas adsorption on the surface of a metal oxide semiconductor causes changes in thermal and electrical conductivity, with gas concentration determined by the change in resistance of a platinum coil. The MR513 consists of a detection element and a compensation element paired to form two arms of a Wheatstone bridge. When exposed to alcohol, the resistance of the detection element decreases, causing a change in the bridge output voltage, which increases proportionally with gas concentration. The compensation element provides reference and temperature compensation.
