Product Introduction
I. ISweek Gas Flow SensorAFE-01 Product Introduction:
The ISweek chip-level gas flow sensor AFE-01 is manufactured by a professional European flow manufacturer. AFE-01 has the following features: very small size, dual flow direction detection, detection of flow of small mass objects, simple signal processing circuit and calibration, completely fixed mechanical components, excellent repeatability and long-term stability, suitable for medical, instrumentation industries, and OEM customers.
Gas Flow SensorAFE-01 consists of four platinum thin-film resistors with low impedance and a small heating area.
There is one high-impedance resistor on each side of the heater to detect flow rate and direction, and another resistor to detect gas temperature. The two resistors near the heating element are connected in a bridge circuit, producing an output signal for flow rate and direction detection.
In the absence of flow, these two resistors reach the same heating state. When flow is present, the temperature of one resistor is much lower than the other, and which resistor cools down depends on the flow direction. The temperature difference can be measured and is determined by flow rate and direction. The heating and response time of the flow sensor is very short due to its small thermal mass. This method can detect very small changes in flow rate. For higher flow speeds, the temperature sensor can be connected to a constant temperature anemometer.
