Product Introduction
Aqualabo Turbidity Digital SensorPF-CAP-C-00173 Description:
According to DIN EN ISO 7027, turbidity measurement is a proven and tested reliable method for detecting water turbidity from low to high levels. The NTU turbidity sensor's measurement principle is based on infrared 90° scattered light method. Thanks to the 880nm wavelength and wide range of 0 to 4000 NTU, the sensor can be used in a range of water and wastewater treatment applications, such as monitoring water quality, detecting filter leaks, and final wastewater testing.
In addition to the turbidity value, the sensor also measures the medium temperature and suspended solids content in mg/L (0-4500 mg/L).
The NTU sensor directly stores its calibration data and history in the sensor electronics. This means it can be quickly used anywhere without continuous recalibration.
This sensor features a slim and robust housing design. Appropriate accessories are required for sensor installation, for example, to prevent external light and any resulting measurement errors. Corresponding immersion, suspension, and flow accessories are also required.
Aqualabo Turbidity Digital SensorPF-CAP-C-00173 Applications:
The compact and robust sensor is especially suitable for the following typical application areas:
• Drinking water treatment
• Water resource protection
• Fish farming companies
• Industrial and municipal wastewater treatment plants
• Process engineering equipment
