The OPTOD dissolved oxygen sensor uses fluorescence optical measurement technology, providing accurate and reliable measurement data without calibration. No consumables and maintenance required, the OPTOD sensor offers immediate return on investment. All that is needed is to replace the DO disk every 2 years. Since it does not consume oxygen, the OPTOD sensor can be used in all media, even with very weak water flow.

Thanks to the integrated preamplifier and digital signal processing, the sensor has excellent anti-interference capability. Dissolved oxygen measurements are automatically compensated for temperature, air pressure, and salinity (salt content), transmitted via digital interface without interference from connected display devices and controllers. The membrane cap is easy to replace, meaning the sensor is easy to maintain. Calibration data is stored directly in the sensor electronics. As a result, plug-and-play is possible without recalibration. The sensor also includes a logbook of the last 10 successful calibrations in the form of a ring buffer.
