Product Introduction
SKA IBE Series (new)
Ferrographic Wear Sensor
SKA IBE SeriesThe ferrographic wear sensor is a high-end industrial device based on advanced image processing technology, specifically designed for precise monitoring and analysis of metal particles (especially ferromagnetic wear particles) in machine lubricating oil. Through unique electromagnetic excitation technology, the sensor can effectively attract wear particles in the oil, and through the perfect combination of optical lenses and industrial CMOS cameras, it can identify in real time and automatically classify various types of wear particles in the oil, covering cutting wear, sliding wear, fatigue wear, non-metallic abrasive particles, fibers, water droplets, air bubbles, and many other types. Through built-in advanced image processing algorithms, the sensor can not only calculate key parameters such as the number, size, and shape of particles, but also intuitively display images of each type of wear particle, thereby completing full-process trend identification and early warning 'from early micro-wear to severe failure'.
Main Application Areas
- Predictive Maintenance — Monitors wear particle trends in lubricating oils to schedule maintenance before equipment failure.
- Engine Oil Analysis — Detects and classifies ferromagnetic wear debris in engine oil for early fault diagnosis.
- Hydraulic System Monitoring — Tracks contamination and wear particles in hydraulic fluids to ensure system reliability.
- Gearbox Inspection — Analyzes wear particles in gear oil to assess gear and bearing condition.
- Industrial Machinery Health Monitoring — Provides continuous oil condition data for turbines, compressors, and other critical rotating equipment.
