Product Model: MTC-PD65W1C-CTA1

Product Introduction

This power module is a 65W single USB-C interface. Its output voltage can be controlled by the protocol IC to provide outputs such as 5V/3A, 9V/3A, 15V/3A, and 20V/3.25A. It uses a QR/DCM flyback circuit architecture, achieving up to 93% efficiency at 20V heavy load and a power density of up to 1.5W/cm³. The system employs a same-series control single-chip: a QR primary-side control IC driving the MTC D-mode GaN FET (MGZ31N65-650V), a secondary-side synchronous rectification control IC, and a PD3.0 protocol IC, which can achieverelativelyBest match.

This report includes the 65W1C electrical specifications, schematic, BOM, main transformer design parameters, and PCB layout, relativelyFollowed by efficiency measurement and EMI test results.
