TGS2618 has high sensitivity to propane and butane, making it the best LPG monitor. Due to its low sensitivity to volatile alcohol (a common interfering gas in residential environments), it is an ideal sensor for gas leak alarms. Thanks to the very small sensing element, the heater current of TGS2618 is only 56 mA, and the sensing part is housed in a standard TO-5 metal package.
The TGS2618-D00 is equipped with a filter cap that eliminates the influence of interfering gases such as alcohol, providing extremely high selectivity to LP gas. It is especially suitable for appliances used in household environments with complex atmospheres and strict requirements, making it the ideal sensor for home gas leak detectors.
