Product Introduction
1. Gas Mass Flow Sensor-FS4001 Description:
FS4001 mass flow sensoruses Siargo's proprietary MEMS flow sensor and packaging technology. The sensor's measurement range is 0~30 sccm to 0~1000 sccm. The flow of each model is achieved through specially designed packaging and intelligent electronics to achieve optimal sensitivity.
The package is made of chemically inert and thermally stable polycarbonate material. The pressure rating is up to 5 BAR (73 PSI), benefiting from Siargo's unique MEMS chip structure, special packaging technology, and robust sensor housing.
FS4001 can be used in a wide range of applications including instrumentation (such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry), leak detection, process control, gas flow metering, and medical applications. FS4001 requires 8~24 VDC power supply and provides an analog and/or digital user interface. The analog output is linear from 0.5 to 4.5 VDC corresponding to 0 to full-scale flow. The digital output is via I2C output, RS232 transmission, and the RS232 communication protocol can be found in this manual.
2. Gas Mass Flow Sensor-FS4001 Main Features:
1) High sensor sensitivity with extremely low starting flow
2) The sensor chip uses thermal mass flow measurement, requiring no temperature or pressure compensation, ensuring high-precision measurement
3) Multi-sensor integration on a single chip greatly improves the sensor's turndown ratio
4) High zero stability of the sensor
5) High stability across the full range
6) High accuracy and excellent repeatability across the full range
7) Low power consumption
8) Low pressure loss
9) Fast response time
3. Gas Mass Flow Sensor-FS4001 Typical Applications:
Suitable for mass flow measurement of small gas flows.
4. Gas Mass Flow Sensor-FS4001 Block Diagram:
The functional block diagram is shown below. The MEMS sensor chip's drive circuit supplies power and sends flow-related voltage to the converter. The microcontroller processes the 19th letter of the English alphabet;
(amplification, filtering, etc.) converts the voltage into flow. The flow signal is sent via analog or analog and digital formats (RS232).
